Let us see your photos of spring.

Welcome to Mellophant.
We started with nothing and we still have most of it left.
We're a little too far north to have much green yet and no flowers at all. I think I'll take the camera out into the woods with me tomorrow and get some shots of mud and meltwater.
The crocuses are blooming here in Chicago, but that's about it. Here are some in our back yard:
Thanks to my workplace firewall, the entire countryside is alive with little red Xs. :Shake:

All the wildflowers that carpet the verges and medians seem to have just come up in the last week. We have these, which come in a range of white/blue/purple shades:
And lots of these paintbrush-looking red ones:
The fruit trees are mostly done blossoming; the bluebonnets and wisteria are coming up in force. Lots of other little white and yellow wildflowers, too. My favorites, the mimosas and magnolias, don't really get going for a few weeks yet. Next weekend might be a good time to do a bluebonnet drive, assuming my allergies are a little better.
This is not an abandoned car; this is my car after parking for about two hours...
Been watching this old Wisteria vine lately, because it is a sure sign that Spring is here when the Wisteria blooms.
Taken today on my walk to the park.

I love that shot of the squirrel, Papaw. I can never get the little buggers to hold still long enough for pictures!
Wow, it sure is pretty where you all live. Here in Chicago, minus Sarah's flowers, the grass is still kinda brown and the trees are bare. It's been warming up and raining a lot lately so I expect to see some major life blooming up in the next week or two though. My windowsill basil plant is loving life lately though.

Hell, if I didn't do things just because they made me feel a bit ridiculous, I wouldn't have much of a social life. - Santo Rugger.
