Default FINE I DON'T WANT YOU ANYWAY

Are you listening, earthquakes? Yeah? WELL FUCK YOU. I see how it is. You always avoid me. Every time you come through the state you totally skirt around my town, so I never have a chance to feel you. And the rare times you DO come to my town you always make sure it's when I'm otherwise occupied.

Well I'm SICK OF YOUR CRAP, seismic activity. I'm going to go stand in fucking Parkfield until I feel one of you bastards. How do you like them apples?

    Um . . okay . . . I guess.

Nothing earthshaking in there, nothing at all . . . .

I'm still pissed off over never having been in a tornado.

If you want to feel something kinda like an earthquake: Go to the 24th floor of the UMass Amherst library during high winds. It feels just like a ship being rocked by a tug going by in the channel about 150 meters from the stern.

Much safer than waiting for a real earthquake.

But, do make sure you go into the building through the armored entrance way - the bricks still sometimes pop out of the facade.

Tornados are awesome. They turn the sky green.

It's not the same as the real thing though, Loki. Life just isn't fair.

Today in the mall I saw a Hurricane Simulator. About the size of a photo booth with a round plexi chamber at one end. Too bad noone was using it.

Dude. Even I've been in a tornado (and a few minor earthquakes)!

And a hurricane that the whole world talked about. You even lost your house, you lucky bitch.

So, now's a bad time to mention that my school was seriously damaged by that tornado, and we had to replace a fence at our rental property because a massive tree fell on it (as opposed to falling the other direction and landing on our sleeping tenant)?

Natural disasters enjoy my company, or something.

I had a stalker one time, which was probably scarier than the tornado, but not as scary as the hurricane.

So which hurricane did you live through? For me It was Camille and Frederick. I left Mobile before any of the recent storms.

I was on the Mississippi coast for Katrina. Like, I don't even think I was ten miles from the beach. We've had a few close calls and some weather off other storms, but that was the one that counted.
