Superbowl XLIV - Saints vs Colts

Coming up on the 7th February is one of the biggest sporting days of the calendar, the Superbowl is upon us again.

So who do you think is going to win The New Orleans Saints or the Indianapolis Colts?

Are you going to be doing anything special, or are you going to do your best to ignore it?

Houston is going crazy for the Saints right now, due to our geographical proximity, the fact that our own NFL franchise blows goats, and the fact that I think half of New Orleans' population is still sleeping in the Astrodome.

Having said that, I think the Colts are a better team. But I'm excited for the game either way; this is the first SB in a long time where I can honestly say there's no outcome that would completely shock me except for a low scoring affair.

The Colts have a key injury in Dwight Freeney. I don't think they can stop Drew Brees from putting up a lot of points and in a shoot out, while I think Manning is the better QB, I think Brees has more weapons and a better RB in Reggie Bush.

I'm hoping that the Saints win, but I think the Colts probably have the stronger team. It's going to be a pretty exciting game either way, though.

Back when I watched football I was a Saints fan. This was back before they had more wins than loses in a season. I'm so excited to see them make it this far. This will be the first super bowl I watch in about 15 years.

I'm not overly fond of the Colts (can't stand that particular Manning), so I'm definitely pulling for the Saints.

Sadly, it turns out my friend who was going to throw a Superbowl party has only one person going to his house (me). Which means I will probably be looking for a bar for us to watch it at instead, since it's no fun without a big crowd of people.

To be fair, even though I was rooting for the Saints I wasn't all that sure they'd be able to pull it off, so I don't think your earlier post was that far off. After that first quarter, they brought it up to a level I wasn't expecting at all.
