Driverless cars licensing

Once driverless cars become the norm, will people need valid licenses to use them?

Fully autonomous cars are being envisioned without human controls. For these, no, a license won't be required.
For cars that are driverless or driver, I would guess the answer will be yes, you need a license.

The time may come when a driver's license will be as obsolete as a buggy whip... but I suspect we're many years away from that.
