You must choose one. You cannot pick it out.
My mom made a Jell-O salad made of lime Jell-O, lemon Jell-O, diced red- and green apples, cottage cheese, chopped walnuts, and Miracle Whip.
It looked like hell. It tasted pretty good, actually (in a '50s cooking-with-stuff-from-boxes kind of way).
Corn ... I guess? Since it's sort of ... sweet?
:drunk:
You're punishing because of the 'Boobah' thing, aren't you.
I went with the cheese. Cheese + fruit is generally good. I don't know how the Jello might interact with this, but I'm willing to give it a shot.
I chose cheese as well, with only slight reservations due to the OP being a Wisconsinite.
Not sure I approve of the "gotta pick one" poll thread.
I went corn. Corn kernels are pretty harmless.
As a kid, my aunt always went with the peaches and cherries. Both canned.
You got this idea from my incessant on-line complaints about my mother's lime jello salad with mayo, lumps of cream cheese, walnuts, and grated onion, didn't you?
By comparison, corn is fairly harmless.
But I advise you to remember: In heaven, there is no lime Jello.
I chose cheese. Cheese with jam/marmalade is great and this might actually be similar if not as good.
I am utterly perplexed that any of these things would be seen as suitable to go with jello. But up here jello salads are pretty much unheard of. Luckily for us. :P
Onion? Are you freakin kidding me!?
The mind boggles.
The only acceptable add-in to lime jello is crushed pineapple. Period. No saladness at all.
